Shipping - In A Nutshell

We say shipping, you say boo.

There are a number of facets to our shipping matrix. In the section we will focus on the generation of shipping rates and maintaining/updating the generator to keep rates syncronised accross systems.

The Shipping Matrix Generator

This is a standalone tool that is built on Python and is used to generate shipping rates. To learn how to use it, head over to the Shipping Matrix Generator page.

Uploading to Neto

When we upload to Altapac’s neto, we need to upload to all of our other neto stores as well. The process is the same accross all stores.

Uploading to GMC

This needs to be done via the API. For now we are using POSTMAN to execute the API calls, however, it’s inteded for the generator tool to automate this process in the future.
