Adding a New Promotion Landing Page

A Promo Landing page should have an associated promotion in the Promotions/Discounts module, and should be linked to from the homepage hero section.

Landing Page Setup

1. Set up the Promotion / Discount

If the promotion/discount is not already created, you can create it in the Promotions/Discounts module or through a Product upload. It’s important to remember that the promotion landing page and the discount/promotion are separate entities, however they need to be synced to start and end at the same times and use the same PROMO CODE.

2. Create the Promotions Page

  1. In the CMS, add a new entry under the Promotions content type.
  2. Give the page a clear, descriptive Name that conveys the offer to customers and search engines.
  3. Save the page and continue to the complete page editor.

3. Sync the Start Date

  1. On the new Promotions page, set the Start Date field to exactly match the datetime configured in the promotion/discount module.

4. Set the Promotion Duration

In the Promo length in days field, enter the total number of days the promotion should run. The system calculates the end date as Start Date + Length.

5. Add the Promo Code

In the Promo Code label field, enter the code from the product PROMO TAG.

6. Populate Content Fields

  • Main Image: 1440 x 600px (displayed at the top of the landing page)
  • Alt_1 Image: 450 x 450px (used in previews, widgets, or and link cards)

Short Description 1

A concise summary (≈150 characters) for crawlers and internal links. Introduce the offer in plain text (e.g., “20% off all camping gear this June”).

Description 1

Description field for core details:

  • Included product types or brands
  • Any exclusions

Description 2

Flexible HTML field with advanced styling. Use this section to tell a marketing story around featured products—calls-to-action, styled lists, images, etc.

Description 3 (Optional)

SEO-focused copy that appears beneath the product lists. Add extra context or keywords for search engines without cluttering the main narrative.

Adding product lists

In the ‘Related Categories’ section you can use the drop down lists to select brands, categories or other product groups to display a short list of products.

Assigning products to a promotion

Assign the same promo products to the new Promotions landing page. Without both assignments, the product lists will not populate.

Post-Promotion Cleanup: Once the promotion ends, remove the products from the Promotions page assignment to prevent stale relationships.
